Meet The Team
Kristina Benza
Kristina became CEO of County Fabricators in 2013. She spearheaded an extensive marketing effort that resulted in a relationship with Tappan Zee Constructors building the New Tappan Zee Bridge. Since Kristina’s appointment, County Fabricators’ customer base has been expanded to include giants such as Kiewit Weeks Massman, Skanska, CW Brown, Tangram, Tutor Perini and many more. Kristina initiated the effort to improve quality control and production standards to be consistent with AISC guidelines resulting in AISC certification in Simple Bridge, Bridge Components and Building Structures. She is an AWS D1.5 certified welder. When not at the shop, Kristina can usually be found watching the NY Yankees and the Villanova Men’s Basketball team. She lives in Westchester County and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University. Go Wildcats!
Philip Benza
Philip Benza is a founding member and Chief Marketing Officer at County Fabricators. He brings many years of experience in marketing, civil construction and general management to the table. Prior to County Fabricators he was a marketing and sales executive at Xerox Corporation. Phil is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives and solutions at County Fabricators. His focus is on building long term relationships with customers. He is a collaborative team leader that puts the needs of the customer at the forefront of the company. He is on the Board of Directors of the Construction Industry Council and is a graduate of Fordham University. Phil enjoys golf and tennis and spending time with his family.
Michael R. Husband
Michael is Vice President in charge of pre-fabrication operations. He is highly respected and has many years of experience in the steel fabrication and construction industries. He has been with County Fabricators since the beginning. Mike’s responsibilities include chief estimator and manager of pre- fabrication operations. Mike lives in Tarrytown, NY with his wife and has 3 daughters and 3 grand-children. He is a Life Active member of the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department and former Chairman of The Board of the Tarrytown Volunteer ambulance Corps. Mike is a graduate of Iona College.
Alexander De La Cruz
Alex is a skillful fabricator with hands on experience in steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication. He is a certified AWS D1.5 welder and over the past few years has been instrumental in helping to grow and build the fabrication operations at County Fabricators. Alex’s contributions include sourcing new hires, training, acquiring new fabrication equipment, estimating and project management. Alex was also extremely crucial to the success of County Fabricators AISC Certification process.
Junior Tejada
Junior arrived at County Fabricators as a welder/fabricator with a background in miscellaneous metals fabrication and has consistently worked his way through the ranks, and is now an AWS D1.5 certified welder. Since becoming Shop Operations Manager, Junior’s attention to detail and leadership skills have been instrumental, specifically in the completion of three large, permanent works projects on the New NY Bridge. Junior’s contributions to the administrative process of shop management has fostered efficiency and helped to greatly decrease the number of fabrication errors. In his spare time, Junior enjoys exploring the New York area with his wife and two young children.
Danielle Ahern Shiboski
Danielle joined County Fabricators back in December of 2017 where she works directly with each department. Her main responsibilities are payroll, accounts payable, management of welding consumables and certifications and ordering of materials, just to name a few. When she is not in the office, she enjoys watching the latest shows, traveling with her husband and spending time with her cats – Duck and Goose.
